It's time to ... boast (a little bit)

Some countries/nations are rich in resources...
Some have splendid engineering mind set and work ethic combination that turns their ideas into a fabulous products...
Some are capable of making just replicas...
Some have just amazing nature.
Some say that their babes are the prettiest...
Some are huuuge...

You probably know that sport in China is true political business.
20-25 years ago China wasn't on soccer, neither basketball (two dominant word's sports) map.
They had to decide which game must be their top priority.
They chose basketball (big part of that decision was young and promising Yao). They adopted American basketball development model...
Now, after they completed a thorough audit, they concluded that this model was a complete failure in terms of young players development and consequently in all their youth and even adults levels.
They cut ( or in process of) ties with Americans as ruled that they are going to persue European school that does not endorse the individuality. You probably agree that they are team, or more accurately - command minded.
They turned into Lithuanian Basketball Federation.
They want to adopt everything that Lithuania has from basketball academies, coaches training program in Universities, national players development in all groups and etc.
When I read about the scale of China's intention/ambitions in LTU press, I was... vow!
I don't think that LTU has all that manpower required.
Anyways, all this is still in negotiation phase and I barely think it will hit our press here.
